1. Choose your cladding décor
The first, and what is considered the most important and often difficult stage, is deciding on your décor. The beauty of Pura® NFC is the endless design possibilities, with a range of styles to suit your own tastes. If you do still need some help why not consider the external factors that surround your home.
Being inspired by your local environment is a great way to stay in tune and complement your surroundings all whilst creating a timeless external façade that you can enjoy for years to come. Consider the render and brickwork used on your home, as well as materials that are local to your region, it might seem like an obvious place to start but if you are looking for design cohesion select decors that work well with your existing foundations.
As well as considering local materials why not harmonise your design with local nature? Trees, plants, and flowers that surround your home can inspire your décor choice especially if the woodgrain decors offering tone, grain, and pattern are what interest you.
And don’t forget, if you really want to make a statement you don’t need to limit yourself to one décor. Select more than one and mix and match decors to either complement each other by using similar tones or provide a contrast for a striking appearance.

2. Consider your design
Pura® NFC can be installed vertically as well as horizontally depending on the required effect. In addition, you will have the choice of how you would prefer the planks to be positioned, either in a brickwork effect, lined up geometrically or placed at random.
If you are conscious of your carbon footprint a design choice that is the most cost effective is random. This design enables more of the plank to be used with less wastage. If sustainability is an important factor for you this might be an effect to consider.
3. Measure the space and calculate
Next, calculate how much cladding you will need to complete your project (Pura® NFC planks are all 3 metres in length). Our top tip is to make a sketch of each wall that you are cladding and add in your measurements for each area to your drawing to ensure all measurements are captured.

In addition, you will also need to calculate how many batons are needed for your project and the number of gaskets required to protect the baton.
4. Profiles
To ensure a professional, easy to install solution with a premium finish, we recommend the Pura® NFC range of accessories.
Based on your previous calculations in the earlier step, you need to identify the number of profiles (3 metre in length to match the cladding), matched trims including corners and edges, as well as profiles and colour matched screws.
If you have opted for a vertical design for your facade, remember to include a support profile. To prevent vermin access and to keep out debris a vent profile is also essential.

5. Order
